Thank you very much indeed for last night’s amazing sound bath therapy session at St Andrew’s in Okeford Fitzpaine. It was such a wonderful occasion, peaceful and relaxing and, in the beautiful setting of the church, truly memorable. You had clearly put a great deal of thought into your choice of instruments and sounds to make use of the church’s acoustics, and I loved both the stirring, even a bit frightening, crescendo of the gong alongside the heavenly distinctive sound of the Monolina. I felt that I was at a fair in mediaeval Spain, then the rush of shells sounded like a cloudburst, making me feel glad to be warm and dry inside! The whole experience, coupled with Nic’s inspiring voice, took me away from the cares of the day and gave me strength and courage to go back into the world refreshed and prepared for whatever the next day brings. I enjoyed every single minute of last night, so thank you both for giving me this experience and for the generous invitation.
